Standard 10. Faculty. The program does not have two full-time faculty members. A position description and evidence of advertising for a second full-time faculty was submitted.
Standard 11. Faculty Qualifications. The program does not have two fulltime faculty members.

Standard 18. Curriculum. The following Curriculum Competencies are Partially Met:
Domain I.1. The assignment is very vague and focused on a registry, not an organization.
Domain I.4. The assignment provided does not require the student to determine compliance of health record content. The student is asked to explain how HIM assists and to name CDI tools. This is not at the Blooms level 5.
Domain I.6. The assignments provided do not require the student to describe components of a data dictionary or data set. They are asked to describe characteristics of data quality, as well as data aggregation, which are different.
Domain III.6. Excel is not generally recognized as a database system. All data management, other than visualization, was conducted in Excel for the submitted assignment. Additionally, the assignment is not scheduled to be implemented until Fall 2022.
Domain IV.1. The submitted assignment meets the Blooms level. It is scheduled to be implemented in Fall 2022.
Domain IV.2. The submitted assignment does not meet the Blooms taxonomy level for evaluate. It also does not meet the content intention. Medical coders and billers play different roles in the process; however, that is only part of the revenue cycle process.
Domain IV.3. The submitted assignment does meet the Blooms taxonomy level for evaluating compliance with regulatory requirements and reimbursement methodologies. Students are asked to research the methods, compare two different methods, and cover the history and current use.
