Standard 22. Financial Support. There needs to be one program director and one full time faculty for the associate program.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. The program must demonstrate that the curriculum competencies meet or exceeds the professional course content as published in the AHIMA HIM entry-level curriculum competencies. In some instances, assignments are briefly described that will meet the competency however, specific student instructions and deliverables are still lacking.
Standard 27. Curriculum Evaluation. Programs must show that students are being taught and tested at a variety of taxonomic levels, with emphasis being placed on the use of application and problem-solving techniques. There are 14 competencies that remain partially met.
