The CAHIIM's Summit on Higher Education brings together distinguished researchers, academics and industry experts who have spent their careers in the field of post-secondary education.

The conference consists of two parts: a pre-conference event and a main conference, featuring a number of presentations selected from abstracts submitted to CAHIIM.

 

Pre-Conference - September 26, 2023

Our pre-conference event will take place on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, and will feature speakers from our external partner organizations.

There will be no charge for this portion of the virtual conference.  

Summit on Higher Education - September 27-28, 2023


The Summit on Higher Education will take place virtually on Wednesday, September 27-28, 2023 and will feature selected abstracts: oral presentations, as well as panels on a range of topics.

This education-focused conference is designed to give educators in the fields of Health Informatics, Health Information Management, business and clinical analytics, and other allied health-related areas, a place to share insight and innovation amid the changing landscape of healthcare-adjacent education in 2023.

Who Attends?

Professionals of all backgrounds, positions and institutions within healthcare and higher education are encouraged to join us.

Registration

CAHIIM's unique pricing model for the main conference is designed to encourage institutions to send multiple attendees. Steep discounts are offered for sending more than two attendees, with progressive discounts for each additional person.

Please note that though there is no charge for attending the pre-conference on September 26th, registration is still required.

Those registering for the main conference will be automatically registered for the free component on September 26, 2023.

Registration ends on Monday, September 18, 2023.

This program has been approved for continuing education units (CEUs) for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Granting of approved CEUs from AHIMA does not constitute endorsement of the program content or its program provider.

The program is eligible to offer up to 28.5 CEUs.

1-2 attendees  $525 per person
 3-5 attendees $1,100 
 6-8 attendees $1,200 

All attendees in a group must be employed by the same institution in order to be eligible to benefit from the pricing model.
