CAHIIM Fall Festival 2022

Summit on Higher Education

The CAHIIM's annual virtual Fall Festival brings together distinguished researchers, academics and industry experts who have spent their careers in the field of post-secondary education. The conference attracts over 400 Provosts, Program Directors and faculty members from programs in health informatics and health information management as well as many industry professionals. The conference consists of two parts: a pre-conference event and a main conference, featuring a number of presentations selected from abstracts submitted to CAHIIM.

 

Pre-Conference - September 27, 2022

Our pre-conference event will take place on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, and will feature speakers from our external partner organizations.

There will be no charge for this portion of the virtual conference.  

Summit on Higher Education - September 28-29, 2022


The Summit on Higher Education will take place virtually on Wednesday, September 28 – 29, 2022 and will feature selected abstracts: oral presentations, as well as panels on a range of topics.

This education-focused conference is designed to give educators in the fields of Health Informatics, Health Information Management, business and clinical analytics, and other allied health-related areas, a place to share insight and innovation amid the changing landscape of healthcare-adjacent education in 2022.

Professionals of all backgrounds, positions and institutions within healthcare and higher education are encouraged to join us.

Registration

CAHIIM’s unique pricing model for the main conference was designed to encourage institutions to send multiple attendees.  Steep discounts are offered for sending more than two attendees, with progressive discounts for each additional person.

Please note that though there is no charge for attending the pre-conference on September 27th, registration is still required. Those registering for the main conference will be automatically registered for the free component on September 27, 2022.

This program has been approved for continuing education unit(s) (CEUs) for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Granting of Approved CEUs from AHIMA does not constitute endorsement of the program content or its program provider.

Conference Pricing

  • Registration for 1 – 2 attendees: $500/person
  • Registration for 3 attendees: $333/person
  • Registration for 4 attendees: $250/person
  • Registration for 5 attendees: $200/person
  • Registration for 6 attendees: $170/person
  • Registration for 7 attendees: $145/person
  • Registration for 8 attendees: $125/person

Forms of Payment

Accepted forms of payment for registration includes credit card (American Express, Visa, Discover, or Mastercard) and check. Attendees must complete the online registration before a check can be accepted. Checks must be accompanied with the names of participants and the institution. Checks must be submitted and received within 30 days of the completed registration but no later than Friday, September 23, 2022. If payment is not received, your registration will be automatically cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by 5 PM (Central Time) on Friday, September 9, 2022 will be refunded the paid registration fee. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded.

Cancellations received after September 9, 2022 and no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
