CAHIIM Accreditation Manual (2011)
The purpose of this section is to provide program administrators with a practical reference for managing the accreditation process. It offers an outline of the process requirements, policies and procedures for programmatic accreditation of the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Accreditation is a tool for continuous program planning and evaluation. The accreditation process is designed to provide a framework for the ongoing collection of data, periodic review, evaluation, and reporting of results.
