CAHIIM strives to provide the public with effective and consistent quality monitoring of health informatics, health information management, and health science degree programs, as well as digital health and other certificate programs through maintenance of accreditation processes. Lynette Williamson MPA, RHIA, CCS, CPC, FAHIMA, FCAHIIM

CAHIIM proudly recognizes Lynette Williamson MPA, RHIA, CCS, CPC, FAHIMA, as a recipient of the CAHIIM Faculty Fellowship. Lynette brings over 35 years of experience to the Health Information Management field, with a career marked by leadership, innovation, and a strong commitment to accreditation and academic excellence. Her contributions to CAHIIM include service as a Council member on the Health Information Management Accreditation Council (HIMAC), and serving as a presenter at the CAHIIM Summit on Higher Education across multiple years.

In addition to her work with CAHIIM, Lynette has held leadership roles with the Hawaii Health Information Management Association (HHIA) and served on advisory boards for multiple HIM programs. Her academic service spans a wide range of initiatives—from faculty governance to curriculum innovation—and her national presentations consistently emphasize progressive, student-centered teaching practices. Lynette’s dedication to quality education and professional advancement reflects the mission of CAHIIM and the values of the HIM profession.
