The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 11. Monitor Assessment Results. The Program responded to the Site Visit Report recommendation and uploaded the SLO Assessment Results. The report showed the HIT program results with that of the National results, however, there was no analysis of the data or an action plan of the exam results. Additional information needs to be provided for this Standard to be in compliance.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. The following curriculum competency remains Partially Met: The assignment submitted did not address the competency noted; III.E.1, Explain common research methodologies and why they are used in healthcare. Research methodologies including qualitative, qualitative, mixed methods, and Institutional Review Board (IRB). The assignment submitted addressed competency; I.E.,1; Identify and use secondary data sources.
Standard 26. Curriculum Syllabi and Competencies. The program uploaded syllabi with relevant entry-level curriculum competencies attributed to CAHIIM, not AHIMA as is appropriate. The program needs to update the syllabi to attribute the competencies to AHIMA, i.e., the title in the syllabi needs to state “AHIMA entry-level Curriculum Competencies”
