August 2016 Accreditation Action: Grant ten years of Initial Accreditation with a Progress Report. The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 9. Program-Specific Curriculum. The program has provided a plan for curriculum revisions. There are a number of areas in the curriculum that require attention during the ensuing fall term. Additional faculty are joining this Program with expertise and leadership from the new Data Institute on campus and the site visit team felt they were well-positioned to address the weaker areas of the curriculum activities.
Standard 20. Accurate Published Information. In the Program’s Response it is indicated that future revisions will be made once AMIA’s new informatics certification is published.
