Abstract Guidelines
- The deadline for abstract submission is February 27, 2026. Notification of acceptance will occur by second quarter 2026.
- Presenters must be available to present virtually, during the conference, Setember 22, 2026.
- Submissions can be podium presentations or panels. Due to time limitations, CAHIIM asks that no more than 5 presenters be included in a single presentation.
- Submission requirements:
- Presentation Title
- Learning Objectives (up to 6)
- Short Description (for Conference Agenda) – 2-3 sentences
- Presentation Abstract (100-200 words)
- AHIMA Domain (select one)
- Domain I. Data Structure, Content, and Information Governance
- Domain II. Information Protection: Access, Disclosure, Archival, Privacy, and Security
- Domain III. Informatics, Analytics, and Data Use
- Domain IV. Revenue Cycle Management
- Domain V. Health Law and Compliance
- Domain VI. Organizational Management and Leadership
- Domain VII. Clinical Foundations
- Domain VIII. Evolving Topics/Other HIIM Relevant Topics
