CAHIIM is excited to announce an upcoming workshop designed specifically for new program directors. From understanding accreditation requirements to building strong program foundations, this workshop will equip you with the tools you need to lead successfully.
Course Format
The course consists of eight (8) modules delivered by various experienced Program Directors. Upon registration, attendees will be provided with course materials and access to the online courses, which they may view at their own pace.

- The accreditation process and any associated timelines
- Educational / Learning Theories, which include Miller’s, experiential learning, and the different forms of assessments (Summative vs. Formative)

- Understanding university faculty roles (tenure-track, full-time, and part-time academic ranks)
- Effective Methods to Enhance Academic Assessment
